What is Night of Recovery?
Inspiring Transformation Through Authentic Recovery Stories and Community Healing
Night of Recovery is a dynamic series of live events focused on addiction recovery, healing, and personal transformation. Founded by renowned recovery advocate Chris Dreisbach, each gathering showcases real-life stories of addiction, resilience, and redemption, told by individuals who’ve faced their darkest moments and found the strength to rise again.
From former WWE wrestlers and military veterans to mental health professionals and community leaders, Night of Recovery features a diverse lineup of speakers who offer unfiltered, personal insights into the realities of substance use and the path to recovery. These honest conversations shine a light on the human side of addiction—and the powerful truth that recovery is possible for everyone.
By creating safe spaces for storytelling, connection, and support, Night of Recovery helps break stigma, strengthen communities, and empower individuals on their journey to healing.
Our Mission
Creating Connection Through Courageous Conversations
Night of Recovery is a national event series that celebrates the power of storytelling in addiction recovery. Founded and hosted by Chris Dreisbach, founder of Blueprints for Addiction Recovery, these live events offer a platform for individuals—many of them public figures—to share their raw, honest, and inspiring journeys from addiction to healing.
Our mission is simple yet profound:
To break the stigma of addiction by creating safe, inspiring spaces where stories of struggle become stories of strength—and where no one walks the path of recovery alone.

How It Started
From One Powerful Night to a Movement of Hope
The very first Night of Recovery was held at the Ware Center in Lancaster, PA, where WWE alumni Sean Waltman (X-Pac), Curtis Hussey (Fandango), and Jesus Rodriguez (Ricardo Rodriguez) shared deeply personal accounts of addiction, fame, and healing. A surprise appearance by Brandon Novak, known from Jackass and his bestselling memoirs, added unforgettable energy to a night that resonated far beyond its venue.
That moment marked more than an event—it sparked a movement. One that continues to grow, touch lives, and inspire transformation across Pennsylvania and beyond.
